Sunday 9th December: Christmas Carol Service and Tea

Details:  This year’s Christmas Tea and Carol Service will follow the well tried and popular procedure. The Tea will take place at St Brides Castle and the Carol Service will follow in St Brides Church. The Service will be taken by Rector of St Brides, Father Andrew Johnson, with several Friends doing the readings.  There will be no pre-tea or post Carol Service social event this year but we will look to re-instate one or or both in 2019.

Friends attending the tea are requested to bring cakes, savouries and sandwiches.

Information Needed Ahead of the day: We have one small mince-pie specialist but we need one more. If you would like to bring mince pies please make yourself known to Caroline Potter (01646 636341)!

Timings and Meeting Point:   Tea will start at 15:00 in the library (as per usual) and run to 16:45 and the Carol Service will start at 17:00 and last approximately 45 minutes. There is ample car parking at St Brides Castle  (mainly in the car park at the rear) (SA62 3AL) and again at St Brides Church for those who wish to drive the short distance between the two.

Lead Organiser:  Ian Pattinson (01239 821631) is coordinating the event as a whole but Caroline Potter (01646 636341) is organising the Tea.
