Events, Walks and Talks

We arrange a varied programme, with one or usually two events each month

  • Guided visits to places of special interest not always available to the general public
  • Guided walks, of varying difficulty and length
  • Talks on current issues by experts in their particular fields
  • Occasional visits outside the Park

Our programme contributes to understanding and enjoyment of the special qualities of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, and is a valuable membership benefit with opportunities to visit places of interest not always open to the public and hear expert speakers on topical issues.

Visits have included

  • Pembroke Oil Refinery
  • Nevern Church and Castle
  • Tenby and St Davids Lifeboat Stations
  • Newport Castle
  • The Electric Mountain in Snowdonia

We have walked, with informative guides,

  • Along many sections of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path
  • Over the Preselis
  • To “The Witches Cauldron” near Moylegrove
  • Around Bosherston

Talks, from experts in their fields, on…

  • Climate Change
