Full details of events in the next month or so are listed below, but if you want to see what is planned for the coming year, look at our Event Programme Summary.

Event Guidelines

Friends are reminded that if they take part in any Friends’ Event, they do so at their own risk and that FPCNP cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, damage or injury, howsoever caused.  Please read this important information about how our walks are graded and assessed for risk.

Booking is required for some events and numbers attending may be limited, so please book early, and if you then cannot attend, remember to cancel by phoning the relevant event leader.

Non-members are welcome to attend our events, we of course hope they will enjoy making new friendships with like-minded people and become members.

Dogs are not usually allowed on events, unless specifically indicated as dogs welcome.

If you have any questions about a particular event, please contact the appropriate leader for that event. Contact our Event Co-ordinator, Ian Pattinson (via the Contact page) for further general information or suggestions for future events.

Saturday 25 August 2018: Stackpole Quay and Cliffs Walk

Details:  This 7 mile walk, with shorter options for those who want them, starts from Bosherston and will take in the path to Grassy Bridge and on to Eight Arch Bridge over to Stackpole cafe which was originally a coal depot. Then for those who want to, we can go over to Barafundle (which is a Heritage beach) then on to Broad Haven South Beach and back to the car park. The actual walk on the day will be dependent on the weather, of course.  On a clear day you can see Lundy Island.  Should be back by 4pm latest.

This walk is graded as ‘Easy’.

Timing and Meeting Point:  Meet at the Bosherston National Trust car park (SA71 5DR) at 10.30am. Bring your NT membership card if you have one, otherwise there’s a parking charge.

Lead Organiser:  Margaret Sandland (01437 731163)
