The 24th AGM will be held on Saturday 25th April 2015 at the Stackpole Centre immediately following the presentation of the prizes to the winners of the Friends’ Annual Children’s Literary competition.   There is ample car parking space.

After the conclusion of the formal business of the day, it is proposed to update you on the ongoing Welsh Government’s legislative programme and policy developments and how they may affect our National Parks.

13.00 Cold Buffet Lunch

14.00 Chris Oliver, Head Ranger at the Centre, will lead a guided stroll through the historical core of the Stackpole Estate encompassing a lakeside walk, a look at some of the built structures and the formerly landscaped grounds of Stackpole Court. This tour will be largely on flat ground but do bring appropriate clothes and walking shoes in case of changeable weather. If the weather is bad, there will be a talk about the Stackpole Centre in the main hall.

Whilst the AGM is open for anyone to attend, participation and voting in the formal business of the AGM Agenda is limited to paid-up members. On the assumption that the Resolutions in item 6 above are carried, with the exception of the Honorary Chairman (External Policy), nominations for Officers and Executive Committee members must be proposed and seconded in writing by members of the Friends and received by the Hon. Secretary no later than Friday, 17th April 2015.

There will be an overall charge of £9.00 towards the cost of coffee, lunch, tea and cakes.
