We arrange an events programme which includes:-

  • Guided visits to places of special interest not always available to the general public
  • Guided walks in various parts of the Park
  • Talks on current issues by experts in their particular fields

Our programme of walks, talks and visits…

  • Contributes to understanding and enjoying the special qualities of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
  • Is a valuable membership benefit with opportunities to visit places of interest not always open to the public and hear expert speakers on topical issues.

The programme usually includes half a dozen or more events per year and has included visits to ….

  • The Pembrokeshire Islands
  • Pembroke Oil Refinery
  • Tenby Lifeboat Station
  • Newport Castle
  • Milford Haven Port Authority
  • The Electric Mountain in Snowdonia

  • Along the National Park Coast Path

  • To “The Witches Cauldron” near moylegrove
  • Around Ramsey Island
  • From St. Brides and many more

Talks on…

  • Climate Change
  • Industrial Archaeology
  • Wildlife and the wonderful flora & fauna of the National Park
  • The Coastline of Pembrokeshire and of the many Seabirds on our islands

Many of these talks, some of which are delivered on a regular pre-arranged basis for a specific purpose such as the HPB at St. Brides, are accompanied by some amazing and unique photography taken by experts in their field

We warmly welcome non-members to our events hoping they will join the Friends and enjoy future occasions by making new friendships with like-minded people. But do please remember because of the constraints in size of some of the venues, numbers attending may be limited so it is always advisable to book early.
