Sunday, 13th December – Guided Walk, Annual Tea Party and Carol Service at St Bride’s Castle

Sunday, 13th December – The Friends’ Annual Christmas Tea Party at St. Brides Castle followed by Carol Service at St. Bridget’s Church – Preceded by a Guided walk around St. Brides led by Steve Drinkwater.

All members, their families and friends are invited to join in with all or some of the Friend’s Christmas Festivities in beautiful St Brides once again this December.

2.15 pm Guided walk around St Brides: the guided walk for those that wish will start at 2.15 p.m. Os gwelwch yn dda yn ymgynnull wrth y fynedfa flaen Castell Sain Ffraid a sicrhau eich bod yn dod â dillad amddiffynnol addas yn dibynnu ar y tywydd,,en,Mae cyfres o Garolau a Darlleniadau,,en,Hefyd, unrhyw wirfoddolwyr ar gyfer y darlleniadau,,en,Mae mynediad am ddim ond bydd plât casglu wrth ddrws yr Eglwys ar ôl y Gwasanaeth ar gyfer y rhai a hoffai gyfrannu at y Cronfeydd Eglwys,,en.

3.30 p.m. The Friends’ Christmas Tea Party: served in the stately library of St. Bride’s Castle with its superb views over St Bride’s Bay (at the kind invitation of the Holiday Property Bond).

5.00 p.m. The Friends’ Carol Service at St. Bridget’s Church, St Brides: A series of Carols and Readings, lasting approx. 40 minutes in the lovely surroundings of this 14th Century Church.

Small plates of savouries or cakes and a few volunteers to help serve the tea would be most welcome for the tea party. Also any volunteers for the readings – please contact John or Caroline Potter on 01646 636341 or e-mail: brookhousedale@hotmail.com

There is ample free & disabled parking and there is no need to book. Entry is free but there will be a collection plate at the door of the Church after the Service for those who would like to make a contribution to the Church Funds.
