3 September 2016 -Friends write to the new Cabinet Secretary of State for the Environment and Rural Affairs re Extending the National Park Boundary out to sea.

On the 3rd September the Chairman wrote to Lesley Griffiths A.M. urging her to consider extending the boundary of the National Park seawards.

Good News for the Friends and for the National Park – Appeal for 5 turbines at Rhoscrowther turned down.

Some good news on the planning front. The application for 5 turbines at Rhoscrowther (which the Friends objected to) has been turned down following the public inquiry. The impact on the NP was crucial even though it was not actually in the Park. For information, a copy of the decision letter can be seen here.

Friends Submit a letter of Support for Visit Pembrokeshire

Following a presentation and request of a letter of support from the Executive of the Friends by representatives of the tourism industry in Pembrokeshire, a letter of support for Visit Pembrokeshire was agreed.
